This was the first part of a double assignment: I was covering two events - gymnastics and swimming - at the same time. Fortunately, they were in the same sports complex, so I merely had to walk a few minutes to go back and forth.

Initially, I had a hard time getting the shots at this gymnastics competiton - whenever the camera focus had found a lock, the gymnasts would jump, or make some other sudden movement that completely threw off the focussing. But at the end of the day, I adapted; and went home with quite a diverse selection of shots.
